Works in Progress: Examining the Sketchbook

Our inaugural event focuses on the role of sketching in the creative process. We’ll be examining its use across disciplines, how it affects our work, our communication, and ourselves. The event will include a panel discussion with noted Chicago artists, some light sketching, and time to chill out and meet other creative folks over a few drinks and music, courtesy of our resident DJ. Attendees are encouraged to bring and share their sketchbooks with the panel and each other. We’ll have a limited number of notebooks and markers available for your use.
